Last week, My Pillow guy and Republican candidate for Minnesota governor Mike Lindell proposed a six-month moratorium on deportations that would allow illegal aliens to obtain a “conditional work visa” that does not expire, which would result in the naturalization of millions of illegals if enacted. But who is Mike Lindell, and what does his radical proposal mean for the future of white identity politics in the GOP?
Who is Mike Lindell?
Mike Lindell is an entrepreneur and politician most famous for his creation of My Pillow. He became a national figure in 2020 following his promotion of fraud claims in the presidential election that year and was endorsed by President Trump in his campaign for governor. But Lindell’s immigration policy is the same as every RINO we’ve ever bashed, and his outrageous proposal for amnesty could possibly be worse than the Reagan amnesty of 1986.
Mike Lindell has shown that he cares more about foreign invaders than American citizens. Republicans should oppose him in his race for the Republican nomination. But what do his comments for the overall direction of the GOP?
The Future of White Identity Politics in the Republican Party
When Donald Trump went down the escalator over a decade ago, he began a gradual process of shifting the Overton window of acceptable positions on race and immigration. Before his campaign, the standard Republican position was “color blindness” (famously parodied by Stephen Colbert in the 2000s), pro-Black, pro-mass immigration so long as it was “legal,” and against mass deportations. Trump normalized remigration, anti-Haitian, anti-Islamic sentiment, and more, all of which are immense victories for our cause. Because of Trump’s presence on the national stage and his actions as president, it was possible—as a recent example—for Andy Ogles and Tommy Tuberville to propose the Assimilation Act, which if passed will repeal the Hart-Celler Act (which removed the national origins quota system and began the current wave of third world immigration) and replace it with a 1924-style system.
We have accomplished so much in the past decade thanks to Trump shifting the GOP in a more pro-white direction, forcing even moderate Republicans to adopt pro-white and immigration restrictionist views. It is foolish to stop now.
The reason why Mike Lindell made his insane amnesty proposal is because the days of Trump are soon to be over. Trump has about two and a half years left in the White House and then there will be a new president, a new leader of the Republican Party. What Lindell wants to do is go back to business as usual with the pre-Trump GOP and erase all the progress we have made in advancing pro-white ideology.
These coming elections will be some of the most important in the 21st century. They will decide whether the Republican Party keeps shifting in a pro-white direction or if the pre-Trump establishment has a second wind and erases all of our progress. We must not let that happen.
