Are you old enough to remember when America was built on high standards?
That used to be the actual foundation of who we were. And if you were a foreigner, you came here legally, worked your ass off, integrated into society, played by the rules, and, if you wanted to build something serious, you had to reach exceptional expectations. That’s how a country becomes amazing. It doesn’t grow and succeed by handing out free passes, lowering the bar, and giving cheap shortcuts and calling that “opportunity.”
