Illegal Immigrant Gets 20 Days for Crash Killing Ohio Dad and Son

A Florida big-rig driver, a reported illegal immigrant who triggered a multi-car pileup on an Ohio highway that killed a local father and his 11-year-old son, received a 20-day jail sentence. Lima Municipal Court Judge Tammie K. Hursh ordered 53-year-old Yvio Michel to serve two consecutive 10-day stretches behind bars. Michel, a Haitian national living in the U.S. illegally while seeking asylum, pleaded no contest to charges stemming from the February 28 wreck on I-75 that killed 52-year-old Hurshel Gipson and his son Michael. Prosecutors offered a plea deal on two misdemeanor counts of negligent homicide and vehicular manslaughter after dropping other charges.

Trump to Canada: No More Airliner Sales to the U.S. Unless Built Here

President Donald Trump said Monday that Canadian aerospace manufacturer Bombardier would no longer be allowed to sell its products in the United States unless it manufactures them in the country. "NO MORE SELLING BOMBARDIER IN THE UNITED STATES!" Trump wrote on Truth Social. "Their products aren't good enough!" The broadside continues a months-long pressure campaign: in January Trump threatened to decertify Bombardier Global Express business jets and floated a 50% tariff on Canadian-made aircraft unless Canada certified several Gulfstream models; Canada later certified those Gulfstreams.

Iran Says It Will Announce New Restricted Zone in the Gulf

DUBAI (Reuters) - Iran said it will announce a new restricted zone in the Gulf in the coming days, along with maps of a new shipping corridor through the Strait of Hormuz, as a weekend exchange of strikes on shipping sent oil prices higher on Monday. The new restricted zone will begin from where the U.S. blockade of Iran begins and extend into areas of the Gulf, Mohsen Rezaei, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said on Sunday in an interview with state TV. Few details were provided, but Rezaei said any ship entering the new zone would be added to a sanctions list.

This past weekend, the right-wing, pro-white Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party won a landmark victory in Saxony-Anhalt, taking about 44 percent of the vote and becoming the largest party in parliament. They fell short of an absolute majority, so forming a government is still an open question. Does this triumph mean Germany is saved, or Europe, or the West?

40 years ago, Germany was still largely a country for Germans, with residents of immigrant background mainly White, European, and non-Muslim. That began to change in the 1990s and 2000s as sub-Saharan African migration into Europe rose. Italy and Spain took the first wave; Germany felt it more sharply from about 2011 to 2014, as migrants crossed from West Africa and the Horn of Africa, entered illegally, applied for asylum, and often received it from governments unwilling to refuse them.

Then came 2015. Angela Merkel invited a surge of Syrians, Iraqis, and Afghans and settled more than a million people in Europe in a single year. Combined with African migration, that produced a sharp demographic shift in Germany between 2010 and 2020. Many Germans feared that if the trend continued, the country would become majority Muslim and non-European. The mainstream parties stayed pro-migrant. A pro-German party was needed. The AfD, founded in 2013, answered that call.

In a little more than a decade, the AfD went from the fringe to one of Germany’s largest parties, and is currently the second-largest party in Germany’s federal parliament. On Sunday, it finished first in a German state for the first time. That makes it possible that the AfD can still win nationally before the window closes, reverse Merkel’s course, remigrate Sub-Saharan African and Muslim arrivals, and restore ethnic German and white demographic stability.

What This Means for Saving Europe

Saxony-Anhalt is a win for identitarians because it raises the odds that the AfD could lead after the next federal election and push restriction and remigration from the chancellery. It also fits a wider European reaction to the post-2011 invasion and the Syrian crisis.

In June 2026, nineteen EU countries, including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, and Sweden signed a letter demanding faster “return hubs” outside the EU. Denmark, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, and Greece have been in talks with African states such as Uganda and Rwanda about hosting hubs by 2027. Italy has already begun building facilities in Albania. In Austria, Chancellor Christian Stocker wants a constitutional ban on political Islam. Europe is not finished. It may still be saved.

In America, Donald Trump’s 2015 campaign began shifting the Republican Party and the mainstream right toward immigration restrictionism, an anti-Islamic line, and a more explicitly pro-white frame. His administration is already carrying out large-scale remigration of illegal aliens; some projections put the foreign-born population more than 15 million lower by the end of his term.

That same shift made it possible for Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) to introduce the Assimilation Act: repeal Hart-Celler, end the H-1B pipeline, end chain migration, ban Muslim immigration, and restore something closer to the national-origins quota system. Sen. Tommy Tuberville, a cosponsor and the Republican candidate for governor of Alabama, has been cast as a new George Wallace. Rep. Brandon Gill has discussed race and IQ on Benny Johnson’s show, including low average scores for Haitians and Somalis. Texas Railroad Commission candidate Bo French has called for 100 million deportations. Inside the White House, Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, an American identitarian and race realist, helps drive the restrictionist, anti-Islamic, and pro-white line. He was the architect of the first-term travel ban, now expanded to many Sub-Saharan African nationalities.

The West is not lost. If this course holds, the 2030s can still see Europe become European again and America American again.
