A Florida big-rig driver, a reported illegal immigrant who triggered a multi-car pileup on an Ohio highway that killed a local father and his 11-year-old son, received a 20-day jail sentence. Lima Municipal Court Judge Tammie K. Hursh ordered 53-year-old Yvio Michel to serve two consecutive 10-day stretches behind bars. Michel, a Haitian national living in the U.S. illegally while seeking asylum, pleaded no contest to charges stemming from the February 28 wreck on I-75 that killed 52-year-old Hurshel Gipson and his son Michael. Prosecutors offered a plea deal on two misdemeanor counts of negligent homicide and vehicular manslaughter after dropping other charges.

President Donald Trump said Monday that Canadian aerospace manufacturer Bombardier would no longer be allowed to sell its products in the United States unless it manufactures them in the country. "NO MORE SELLING BOMBARDIER IN THE UNITED STATES!" Trump wrote on Truth Social. "Their products aren't good enough!"
